Located on fashionable Avenue George V, the 76-room Bulgari Hotel Paris is designed by Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel. It fuses Italian contemporary design with classic Parisian style. Despite its small size, the Bulgari will have a full-service spa, indoor pool and notable courtyard restaurant serving classic Italian cuisine with French accoutrements. “Paris has just given birth to true luxury with the arrival of The Bulgari on Avenue George V,” says award-winning advisor Anne Scully of Embark Beyond, adding, “Nested in the heart of the golden triangle, the Bulgari Hotel Paris offers a breath of fresh air in a rather conformist luxury hospitality environment with its unique Italian informal, yet impeccable service provided by a genuinely kind, generous and attentive team.”
Bulgari Hotel Roma (Italy)

It’s a homecoming for Bulgari, which late this eyar will open a hotel in the very city it was founded in. Bulgari Roma, located in Rome’s Campo Marzio neighborhood, will have views of two iconic Rome landmarks—Ara Pacis and the Mausoleum of Augustus. Look for its signature uber luxury service and high-end touches.
Cosme, Paros (Greece)
The first true luxury resort here will no doubt lure luxe travelers from the bustling islands of Mykonos and Santorini to explore the more local vibe of Paros. Launched by the owners of Mystique and Vedema, Cosme, Paros is set on a private stretch of beach. The 40-room resort will feature a private beach club, oceanfront pool, spa, and signature restaurant.
Gleneagles Townhouse, Edinburgh (Scotland)

From the legendary golf resort Gleneagles Townhouse, Edinburgh is a new 33-room boutique hotel in the heart of St. Andrews Square in the former Bank of Scotland. The stately building will house a private club, rooftop bar and trendy restaurant.
Hotel de Len, Cortina (Italy)

Hotel De Len is a new project opening in early 2022 based on sustainability and wellbeing that pays homage to the Ampezzo heritage, offering a contemporary experience deeply rooted in local traditions. The hotel is a new structure both in form and in concept, connecting the surrounding environment and the traditions of the Dolomites. The property offers 22 rooms with a modern and minimal design, a unique spa overlooking the mountains and valley, as well as a restaurant and three bars.
Hotel La Palma, Capri (Italy)

From the masterminds behind the storied Grand Hotel du Cap Eden Roc, Oetker Collection reinvents the original Caprese hotel (built in 1822) with a fresh beach-chic style complimented with Michelin starred cuisine in the middle of Capri Town surrounded by the island’s best shops and spectacular views. Hotel La Palma, Capri is already shaping out to be one of the most requested hotel stays for 2022. “La Palma is a true revival and will be the only new luxury hotel in the most enviable location in the heart of Capri Town” says Embark Beyond Italy specialist Jenny McCalley. “It even has a private beach club in the Marina Piccola.”
Kilchoan Estate (Scotland)

Kilchoan Estate is Dunton Hotspring’s newest outfit on Knoydart, a peninsula in the Lochaber district on the West coast of the Scottish Highlands. Situated between Loch Nevis and Loch Hourn, the area comprises 55,000 acres, which today is divided up amongst a number of landowners, with the largest area managed by the Knoydart Foundation. As if you didn’t need another reason to visit Scotland, this stunning estate is truly remote and away from the hustle and bustle of a city. “Every accommodation is a beautifully modernized cottage with Scottish flair, and all are standalone to ensure maximum privacy and social distancing” says, Cali Hersh, luxury travel advisor Embark Beyond. “It is located on an incredibly lush landscape that is perfect for those who want to reconnect with loved ones, themselves, and nature.” She calls it a haven for hikers and nature lovers alike.
La Zambra (Spain)

La Zambra is a type of flamenco dance so it should surprise no one that this new Costa de Sol hotel that borrows the term for its name aims to be quite fun-loving. There’s to be three swimming pools, two tennis courts, two paddle courts, a gym, a spa, and—you guessed it—a nightclub. La Sambra opens in what previously was called the Hotel Byblos, which in its heyday attracted the likes of Princess Diana and the Rolling Stones.
Le K2 Chogori (France)

Le K2 Chogori comes to the conservative French ski resort of Val d’Isere bring a spark of sexiness with this famed Courchevel resort’s new chic outpost fusing French and Tibetan design, wellness, and cuisine. Stunning two-and-three-bedroom apartments.
One&Only Aesthesis (Greece)

One&Only Aesthesis brings to the Athenian Riviera a new glamorous urban resort on the beachfront, Best of all, it’s just 25 minutes from downtown Athens. “I expect my clients to enjoy the accommodations of secluded villas, with private pools that will provide an emphasis on privacy, and will be complimented by an exclusive and chic beach club, innovation programming for families, and a Chenot spa,” says Leo Sorcher, Mediterranean specialist at Embark Beyond.
Palazzo Roma (Italy)
Located in an 18th century residence once owned by Italian nobility Palazzo Roma is a luxurious new hotel whose original frescos, stuccos, and gilded decorations are to be painstakingly restored. It’s a short walk from Via del Croso and a mere 20 steps from the Trevi Fountain —although guests may not want to leave its ornate halls.
Panoptis Escape (Greece)

Panoptis Escape in Mykonos is just 18 units with an over-the-top 25,000 sq.ft. 21-bedroom villa. This rustic, sexy resort is set on a secluded bluff overlooking the sea offering a more wild and organic side of the party island about 20 minutes away. The totally connected 24/7 concierge team promises to anticipate client needs and snag the best tables at the best clubs any day of the week.
Portrait Milano (Italy)
Portrait Milano opens this summer and is located in the former Archiepiscopal Seminary at 11 Corso Venezia, Europe’s oldest seminary, built in 1564. This monumental building boasts an impressive baroque entrance designed in 1652 by Francesco Maria Richini, which opens onto an imposing 3,000 square meter piazza framed by a double colonnaded loggia. The new Portrait Milano will offer access for hotel guests, visitors, and residents in a piazza for shopping, dining, and leisure, providing a new community center in an up-and-coming neighborhood adjacent to Milan’s fashion district. “Set in Europe’s oldest seminary, Portrait Milano is a historic work of art, and has an amazing baroque entrance dating back to the mid-1600s, which leads to the large piazza delivering an amazing sense of place,” says Mandy McKaskle, Italy specialist at Embark Beyond.
Rosewood Vienna (Austria)
Housed in a historic 18th century building which was the former headquarters for Erste Group Bank AG, Rosewood Vienna is set to open in this summer. It is ideally situated on Petersplatz, one of the most famous squares in Vienna’s Old Town. Located just steps away from the city’s most luxurious shopping and dining and its most famous historical sites, the brand’s fifth European property will serve as an unsurpassed gateway to one of the region’s most charming destinations. Combining the best of European architecture and design with a refined yet modern style, the hotel will offer 99 spacious guestrooms and suites, all of which will feature separate spaces for entertainment and relaxation.
Six Senses Loire Valley (France)

Six Senses Loire Valley is a “spectacular castle-country one hour south of Paris is one of the most overlooked destinations in Europe, in part because there is really nowhere amazing to stay,” says Embark Beyond France specialist Cindy Salik. “Here you can go to the fresh markets, pack a basket filled with delicacies and wine from one of the local vineyards, and have a picnic at in the fragrant garden of one of the 22 beautiful castles waiting for you to visit.” She says Six Senses is adding “every bell and whistle you could want, including a world-class spa and access to recreational activities like to golfing, hiking, kayaking, boating and biking.”
Six Senses Rome (Italy)

Six Senses Rome overlooks Via Del Corso, just blocks from the Trevi Fountain and Pantheon. It will have 95 guestrooms and suites, a Six Senses Spa, restaurant, outdoor courtyard garden and rooftop terrace showcasing 360-degree views of the city. The hotel building, dating back to the 18th century and UNESCO-listed, is being restored with interiors by award-winning designer Patricia Urquiola.
The Cashel Palace Hotel (Ireland)

The Cashel Palace Hotel joins the ranks of Ireland’s growing crop of world-class, over the top luxury hotels. Set in a stately Queen Anne-styled Manor from the 18th century that welcomed the likes of Jackie Onassis and Elizabeth Taylor, Cashel Palace overlooks the famous Rock of Cashel, the most important collection of medieval ruins in Ireland, and where St. Patrick converted the King of Munster to Christianity. Located halfway between Dublin and Killarney (and only 90 minutes from Shannon Airport), this laid back 42-room Relais & Chateaux property is an equestrian lover’s haven with access to one of the world’s most prominent private stud farms and training facilities.
The Madrid Edition (Spain)

The Madrid Edition opens near Madrid’s Puerta de Sol and will have 200 rooms and five food and beverage concepts. Guests can enjoy their outdoor pool and spa, while locals can utilize their over 3,700 square feet of studio space.
The Standard Ibiza (Spain)

The Standard sets its sights on Ibiza’s UNESCO heritage-declared Old Town, opening a 67-room hotel on Vara de Rey. The Standard Ibiza will have a rooftop restaurant and bar, an expansive swimming pool, and (since this is the Standard we are talking about), a lively social scene. Plus, you’ll be smack dab in the beautiful, bustling, beachy heart of the island.
Ultima Cannes Le Grand Jardin (France)
Ultima Cannes Le Grand Jardin is “the only luxury option on the exclusive island of isle Saint Marguerite, just seven minutes by boat from the city of Cannes. It is one of the most exciting openings in the French Riviera,” says Kristiana Choquet, a France specialist at Embark Beyond. Slated to open this spring just before the Cannes Film Festival, the property has only 12 rooms spread out across multiple restored historic buildings. Available only for exclusive use it can be reserved on a weekly basis. “The Ultima Universe was the brainchild of French-Swiss billionaire Max-Hervé, who was not satisfied by the caliber of 5-star hotels he frequented while traveling for both business and leisure. Each small resort is built to be taken over or supported by individuals staying in a resort that feels more like a large estate, and Le Grand Jardin will be no different.”
