What’s better than spending the holidays in Los Cabos?
Well, since I asked, in my opinion, it’s spending your next visit at one of the beautiful villas managed by our DG Amazing Experiences partner Elegant Mexico.
CEO Sean Emmerton cut his teeth at some of the top five-star resorts and is a pioneer in melding the villa rental experience (space and value) with the top-notch service one expects at world-class resorts.
For this issue, we look at five of Elegant Mexico’s six-bedroom villas, all in an exclusive gated community, each with an attentive staff. Best of all, mention DGAE when you book directly with Elegant Mexico and receive a 10% discount.

1. Villa 705
Villa 705 offers over 6,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor living space, so there are always plenty of comfortable gathering spaces to relax and unwind with family and friends. With indoor and outdoor dining areas that flow seamlessly into one another, you’ll feel at home as you kick back and enjoy some fine Mexican cuisine prepared by your dedicated villa chef. The kitchen is fully equipped with sleek modern appliances, a granite breakfast bar, and a beautiful glass dining table that can comfortably seat six or more.
And when it’s time to take your meals outside, you can head out to the spacious terrace and fire up the grill for a relaxing barbecue or just sit back with friends and soak in all the incredible views around you. Whether you want to entertain guests or simply relax, this villa is the perfect place for dining and socializing in style.
This home stands out because of its spectacular terrace, featuring a private heated infinity pool, panoramic views of the Sea of Cortez, a mini kitchen and bar, and a lounge area where you can relax with family and friends. The Master features a King bed, plus three more Kings (one in a Casita), a Queen, and a Double.
2. Hacienda 511
Nestled atop a bluff, Hacienda 511 has six bedrooms plus an office. There is a 12-seat movie theater villa that offers breathtaking ocean views.
Designed with elegant sophistication, the villa features ample indoor/outdoor living spaces, top-of-the-line amenities, and a whole staff to attend to your every need.
The villa features four King bedrooms, a double Queen bedroom, and another bedroom with a Queen bed.
3. Casa Bella Villa

Casa Bella Villa spans 6,500 square feet with six bedrooms, 6.5 baths, and lots of relaxing living space. Décor is contemporary and tasteful, with colorful touches of local culture. But the highlight of the villa’s ambient design can be found in what isn’t there – walls. Most of the rooms, including five of the six bedrooms, come with retractable floor-to-ceiling windows for a sense of seeing the full panorama of the horizon and sea and being in it.

All are open and airy, and that goes for outdoor showers in some of the ensuite bathrooms, the picture window openings above the tubs, and a focus on the grand pool patio that flows in and out of the common rooms.
Two bedrooms here are made for children or very cool-minded guests. They involve oversized bunk beds, even a permanent teepee, and in one case, a fully equipped media room.

The kitchen at this villa in Los Cabos is also a grand affair with side-by-side stoves, a double refrigerator, and a granite prep island that abuts the dining counter stocked with five bar chairs. There’s room enough for your dedicated chef to create specialties of the house and for the chef in the family to show off as well. A state-of-the-art espresso nook takes care of the between times that need that extra boost.
A formal oak wood dining table seats 10 beneath a wrought iron chandelier. The living room features a comfortable configuration of plush sofas, and chairs around a large flat-screen television, all complemented by dark oak cabinets and tables.

Much of the action at Casa Bella Villa takes place outside. And for that, there is a welcoming pool fed by decorative fountains for lounging or even doing laps. Umbrella-shaded chaises dot the area. Three firepits illuminate the patio in the evening hours. Dine in the loggia, an extension of the interiors but bearing no walls. Here, a bar, family room, and a fireplace surround a large dining table where breezes and the sounds of the sea add sensory impact.
4. Villa Encanto

Villa Encanto is better described as a mansion welcoming up to 14 guests in comfort. The layout runs lengthwise against a vast horizon, ensuring every room has a view of the Sea of Cortez. The privacy offered in the interior and exterior footprint, as well as the arrangements of each bedroom, makes Villa Encanto perfect for large family get-togethers and friends’ celebrations.

Guests will enjoy the stream of nooks, living room, family room, cocktail bar, and outdoor pavilions, a river, almost literally running through it all. Framing the property against its winding layout is an infinity pool measuring more than 100 feet with waterfalls that pour into it and lead to a sunken spa in the middle.
There are plenty of places to chill, from fire pits to backyard putting greens, and opium beds, to classic loungers and a grand living room, and dining spots with outdoor shading.

Design throughout is a combination of Spanish colonial appointments against light, contemporary furnishings. Every item – from television screens that seem to offer their own aesthetic statements to gleaming and glittering chandeliers to comfortable, plush sofas – has a purpose, even if it is simply to add pizzazz.
Bedrooms come in a variety of shapes and sizes, with two master bedrooms. Terraces off the bedrooms provide panoramic views and offer sitting, lounging, and reading spaces. The King beds face outward for mesmerizing views.

Another bedroom offers two sets of Queen and Double Bunkbeds that can sleep eight making Villa Encanto a kids’ fantasyland.
Everyone will love the gourmet cave containing a snack refrigerator, a large grill, and a pizza oven. Indoors is a formal chef’s kitchen with double ranges and ovens, a wine cooler, designer appliances, and a beautiful marble island in the middle for added surface area.
5. Casita 101

Espiritu Casita 101 is on a hill that overlooks the Sea of Cortez from every angle and provides multiple living spaces. Spanning 6,400 square feet, it includes a formal living room, family room, media room, and kitchen, all in an open-air plan that brings in stunning outside panoramas with multiple fireplaces.

The Sea of Cortez frames manicured gardens of flowers and greenery. At the edge is a sizable infinity pool surrounded by loungers, chairs, and multiple fire pits.
Dine in the formal dining room or al fresco at multiple casual set-ups, including an open patio. Espiritu Casita 101’s dedicated chef is on hand to prepare local signature favorites to your specific requirements. Like all Elegant Mexico villas, your dedicated butler will serve or bring snacks and cocktails to those chaises by the pool.
