France has long set the global standard for refined living, and its luxury villas are no exception. Whether you are drawn to the lavender-scented hills of Baux-de-Provence, the surf-kissed coast of Biarritz, or the powder slopes of Courchevel, a private villa estate offers something no hotel can match: space, privacy, and a sense of belonging to the landscape itself.

For private aviation travelers already planning their European luxury hotel experiences in 2026 or those who have experienced the romance of luxury train travel through Europe, these six luxury French villas represent the next level of immersive travel. Come along as we visit Baux-de-Provence, Biarritz, Cap-Ferret, Gordes, Courchevel, and Megève.
