The southern Baja Peninsula has been developing into one of the world’s top luxury resort destinations over the past decade. One & Only Palmilla, Resort at Pedregal, Esperanza, Chileno Bay and Las Ventanas are regulars in numerous top lists. Seven of Mexico’s top rate golf courses are in the Los Cabos area. Top fishing tournaments like the Bisbee with million dollar purses and an up and coming film festival have been providing cache. Off road racing in the desert, high-end shopping, a diverse culinary scene and the ability to kick back for some whale watching or party all night long with Sammy Hager provides a cross somewhere between St. Barts, the French Riviera and Scottsdale with Mexico’s warm hospitality quotient.
Coming soon are new luxury resorts from Four Seasons, St. Regis, Montage and a Reserve from Ritz-Carlton, the brand’s six star offering. What’s particularly interesting about Los Cabos is for all the luxury resorts, rental villas are an extremely popular option. Driving the high-end villa market is the fact that there is a high-demand for full ownership residences. In other words, Los Cabos is one of those destinations where the climate makes it perfect all year, meaning it’s popular to buy a home, and then for some people, put it in a rental pool, although many private residences are kept just that.

Listed by Architectural Digest as one of the “9 Most Spectacular Hotel Residences on the Planet” and developed and sold by Grupo Questro, West Enclave, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve Residence, is a collection of 27 luxury homes in Los Cabos offered in its initial phase, whose owners benefit not only from the service of Ritz-Carlton, but also a spectacular location.
Robb Report included the community as one of the hottest new residential communities in the resort. Forbes writes, “Gone are the days when you would walk into a Ritz-Carlton, and it would feel like a consistent design aesthetic. Now it’s more about the place, the building, locale, history, what the customer who is coming to this part of the city is looking for.” Unique Homes calls the development “a serene and transformative escape.”

Rising from a sea-view bluff within 2,000 oceanfront acres of the private and protected master planned resort enclave of Puerto Los Cabos, the homes offer full access to white sand beaches, a full marina, private beach clubs, an estuary, rolling hills with exotic flora, and signature golf courses from both Jack Nicklaus and Greg Norman. There is also a private sculpture garden and a 12-acre cactus botanical park.
