Top Las Vegas Suites You Don’t Need to Be a High-Roller to Stay In

Many of the best suites in Vegas are reserved for high rollers. In this issue we look at the best of MGM’s extensive inventory of suites that are available to anyone, at least anyone who can pay, can stay.

1. ARIA Sky Villas
2. ARIA Sky Suites
3. NoMad Las Vegas – Suite Royale Premier
4. Bellagio Chairman Suites and Presidential Suites
5. SKYLOFTS at MGM Grand
6. Penthouse Superior Suite at Delano Las Vegas
7. The Villas at The Mirage

1. ARIA Sky Villas

Located within ARIA Sky Suites, ARIA Sky Villas range in size from 2,000 to 7,000 square feet and offer both two and three bedrooms, as well as single- and two-story retreats. They are regular occupants of most top suites of Vegas lists.

Calling them “a cut above most Sin City Suites,” Just Luxe writes, “The interiors are designed from natural materials—stone, glass and wood—and include no jarring colors or ostentation, just muted, peaceful grays, whites and beiges. Floor-to-ceiling windows covered the walls, and from so high up, there are exceptional views of the city, the Spring Mountain Range and the snowy peaks of Mount Charleston.”

Sky Villas feature panoramic windows with views of The Strip, innovative in-room technology, private saunas, billiard rooms, full luxury kitchens, entertainment areas, personal airport transportation, and 24-hour on-site butlers, available for any special recommendations.

They are ideal venues for hosting internal meetings, throwing a party or signing a big deal.

2. ARIA Sky Suites

The Sky Suites at ARIA range from 1,050 to 7,000 square feet, and all Sky Suites include airport limo transportation, private valet and porte cochère, private check-in, and expansive floor-to-ceiling windows.

The hotel within a hotel is rated 5-stars by Forbes Travel Guide, which writes, “The accommodations are incredibly luxurious, made up of more than 300 residential-style suites with separate bedrooms, full living rooms with dining areas all starting at more than a whopping 1,000 square feet of space. The large rooms are a boon themselves, but little touches like Jacuzzi tubs with champagne stream bubbles and the steam showers in some of the bathrooms to the cutting edge in-room technology set this hotel in a class of its own”

Every “smart” guest room features personalized automation. Sky Suites are networked with fiber optic cabling, offering uber-fast Internet connectivity and guest service. Tech-forward features include one-touch control of lighting, room temperature, television/video systems, music, wake-up calls, draperies and requests for service through a single, easy-to-use remote control

Guests can choose to wake up gradually through controlled temperature, lighting, curtain opening, and preferred music. One button can modify all room settings at once; “Good Night” turns off lights, TV and/or music, shuts curtains and turns on privacy notification
Keyless locks utilizing RFID (radio frequency identification) technology reduce the failure of room keys.

3.  NoMad Las Vegas – Suite Royale Premier

Newest on the strip, located on the top four floors of Park MGM, NoMad Las Vegas is a distinctive luxury hotel experience that features a variety of exclusive amenities, including an elevated private pool deck for NoMad guests; a private hotel reception area, and even a NoMad-themed gaming area.

Each of the 293 rooms and suites at NoMad Las Vegas is residential in feel. Interior designer, Jacques Garcia, incorporates a timeless style with a distinct New York sensibility. Each room is appointed with custom furnishings, oak hardwood floors, original artwork curated by Paris-based design studio be-poles, Bellino linens, and custom Argan bathroom products.

The Telegraph gives it a rating of 9 on a scale of 10. The British paper says, “The hotel is a result of the former Monte Carlo hotel being taken over by MGM and the property being split into Park MGM and this 293-room project. The name and look come from The NoMad hotel in New York. The low lighting creates an immediate ambiance, and there’s a continental flair in evidence in the artwork, including vintage prints of showgirls and the like. Alcoves contain stone altars, and life-sized dog sculptures watch over entrances. Rich red carpets lead to a brocade-laden front desk. The whole feel is opulent and European, perhaps unsurprisingly as the concept comes from a Parisian design studio.”

The 2,000 sq. ft. one-bedroom Suite Royal Premier overlooks the strip and stands out with its Oak hardwood floors. The entertainment area includes a dining room for six guests, freestanding high-top bar and full-sized billiard table. This suite features two full bathrooms and a separate guest toilet. There’s a pantry with a full-sized refrigerator.

4. Bellagio Chairman Suite

It’s hard to believe this Las Vegas icon turns 21 on Oct. 15th of this year, and its Chairman Suites (below, top) and Presidential Suites are favorites in a city with probably more over-the-top and expansive suites than any city in the world.

Of course, the experience begins when with the famous fountains, then as you enter the Dale Chihuly hand-blown glass flowers on the lobby ceiling. Conde Nast Traveler notes the lobby and Conservatory are two of the most Instagrammed locations in Sin City.

Bellagio’s two 4,075 square-foot Chairman (below) and Presidential Suites are perched atop the Spa Tower at Bellagio. Each two-bedroom suite has been designed with its own solarium, fireplace, bar, indoor garden and fountain – ideal spaces for relaxing, or entertaining groups.

Guests receive complimentary transportation, personal butlers and private concierge services. To soak up the best views of Las Vegas, guests have the option to reserve a room with a private outdoor patio and hot tub.

6. Penthouse Superior Suite at Delano Las Vegas

A good choice, if you are looking for a non-gaming hotel, Travel + Leisure, writes, “The unfortunately named THEhotel at Mandalay Bay—the boutique tower adjoining Mandalay Bay—was in real need of a refresh, so the folks at MGM Resorts did one better and made it a Delano, with all the style and breezy sophistication of the Miami original.”
