Conde Nast Traveler writes, “Away from the buzzy harbor front of Hamilton, the St. Regis’s location—on a quiet beach on St. George’s Island, on the northeast tip of Bermuda—feels right on brand for the hotel’s low-key, laidback feel… With 120 rooms, 21 of which are suites, the resort feels like just the right size. Neither boutique nor big-box, you’re bound to see more than a few familiar faces around the pool each day…The (food) offerings vary slightly between in-room dining, The St. Regis Bar, the pool and beach, and Lina, the all-day restaurant; by night, the latter becomes BLT Steak NY.”

The St. Regis Spa also has an excellent menu of treatments to truly help guests get some rest and relaxation, featuring products by Sothys. Children can also enjoy the St. Regis Children’s Club while parents play a round at the historic and scenic Five Forts Golf Course.”

It’s barefoot luxury at its finest, from pampering treatments at the 12,000-square-foot Sense Spa to days spent on the four tennis courts or Roger Rulewich-designed golf course to afternoon Dark and Stormy cocktails on your private terrace and evenings in the 3,000-bottle wine room.”

4. Pompano Beach Club

Conde Nast Traveler writes, “Pompano Beach Club, a family-run Southampton resort, has one of the most unique beachfronts of any resort in Bermuda—one where you’ll likely spend the bulk of your time during your stay, thanks to a massive sand bar located directly off its coastline. At low tide, this is where you can walk nearly 200 yards in knee-to-chest-deep water—which, by the way, is perfectly still and as clear as gin. If you’re lucky, you’ll also spot the fish that give this hotel the other part of its name: blueish-green pompano that call these sand flats home. You won’t be blown away by the room’s basic décor and simple furnishings, but you’ll have one of the best ocean views in Bermuda and ample outdoor space, so head to your private balcony and smell the salt air. Since Pompano is on a cliff high above the water, you can look out for miles onto the turquoise Atlantic—make sure you have plenty of storage left in your phone for pics galore.”

Forbes Travel Guide adds, “When Cambridge Beaches Resort & Spa asserts that it treats guests like family, it’s not hyperbole. The 86-room, adults-only property resting between Bermuda’s Long and Mangrove bays opens its doors so wide that it keeps a tally of its extended family members on a wall where guests’ names fall under categories like Teeners (10 or more visits) and Eighty Fivers (yes, there are two couples who’ve had 85 stays).”

Three-Bedroom Water View Cottage

The 1,965-sq.ft Three Bedroom Water View Cottage dates back to the 17th century. French doors lead to the back patio and garden. Off the side of the living room finds a bedroom with a queen bed, offering a garden view. Down the hallway features the additional two bedrooms with king-size beds. The master bedroom features views of Mangrove Bay, an en-suite bathroom with a whirlpool tub and shower combination, while the second bedroom has a separate bathroom with a whirlpool tub and shower combination, offering views of the back garden.

Forbes Travel Guide writes, “It’s hard to believe you’re only a five-minute walk from Bermuda’s capital city, Hamilton, when you step into the elegant oasis of Rosedon Hotel. The lush surroundings include tropical gardens with immense birds of paradise, blue passion and pink hibiscus flowers, and breezy patios canopied by palm fronds that shield the property from the street. But the pièce de resistance is the wedding cake-like main house, clad in white and bedecked with bright blue shutters and awnings. The mansion, which was built in 1906 and renovated in 2019, has been in the Kitson family for three generations. The owners’ loving attention to detail is evident in everything from the interiors to the food.”

The hotel is still in a soft-opening mode until early 2023.
