1. The Standard Ibiza

Forbes says with its rooftop pool and restaurants and Ibiza Town location, The Standard Ibiza is well-suited for “tastemakers and glitterati.” It continues, “The Standard opened in April 2022 bringing Ibiza’s already glamorous reputation to new heights. With 53 guest rooms and suites, the adults-only hotel isn’t overwhelming, but it does have an air of exclusivity. There are plenty of nooks and crannies and lounges for luxuriating after a long day on the beach or indulging in an anything-goes kind of night. Jara, the street-level restaurant, and lounge has outdoor seating on the main square, Vara de Rey, as well as indoor banquettes. The rooftop terrace and the restaurant Up, where models and designers sip cocktails and nosh on light bites, has impressive views of Old Town. For even more privacy, travelers should book a room in Casa Privada, located one block away from the main hotel. It has just 14 guest rooms, including two terrace suites with outdoor hot tubs and a rooftop pool, yoga studio, and private lounge available exclusive to Casa guests. The five-story tall building is also available for full or partial buyouts for a corporate group or small wedding.”

While The Telegraph only rates it an 8 of 10, it adds, “A bastion of Balearic cool smack bang in the heart of Ibiza town, The Standard has brought its California-inspired, fun-loving ways to the White Isle. A stylish bolthole for the culturally inclined, it’s quickly become the most coveted address on the island.”

2. Six Senses Ibiza

The Telegraph writes, “Through the winding roads from San Juan, you’ll reach Six Senses Ibiza. Perched like a watchkeeper over the picturesque Xarraca Bay, here you really do feel like you’re on top of the island. Cala Xuclar, with it’s excellent small chiringuito, is a five-minute drive, and you are 35 minutes to Ibiza airport and 25 to Ibiza town; the hotel has direct sea access.”

Forbes says its best for “health-conscious jet setters.” It continues,” The property’s architecture and interiors pay homage to Ibiza’s natural landscape with sun-drenched common spaces, understated furnishings, and thatched roofs. The spa is among the Mediterranean’s best, with a wide range of treatments, including massages and facials, as well as biohacking, infrared saunas, and breathwork. Compliment a serene wellness ritual with a class in a boxing ring, a high-energy gym workout, or yoga session and leave Ibiza feeling rejuvenated.”

Forbes says with its 14,000-square-foot spa, swimming pool, and casino, Ibiza Grand Hotel is for “traditional travelers looking for all the bells and whistles.” It adds, “The Ibiza Gran Hotel is near plenty of Ibiza action–the buzzing marina and legendary Pacha nightclub are just outside the main entrance–but all of that is forgotten when guests step into the sophisticated hotel’s lobby, which feels more tranquil than sceney. Public spaces and guest rooms have a neutral color scheme, plus furnishings and light fixtures feature natural materials. The large spa specializes in hydrotherapy treatments and also offers a complete menu of massages and beauty treatments. The hotel is one of Ibiza Town’s most exciting culinary destinations, with multiple restaurants and bars, including Japanese izakaya Zuma for fresh sushi and Club Chinois for the late-night party crowd. Foodies flock to Óscar Molina’s La Gaia, which was awarded a Michelin star last year for tasting menus featuring local ingredients such as fresh oyster with ají chili pepper and Balearic black pork with artichoke.

4. Atzaró Agrotourismo Hotel

Forbes lauds the “indoor-outdoor spa; secluded outdoor spaces for relaxation.” It says a not to miss is “walking through the orange grove,” adding, The luxe and design-forward hotel is on 10 lush acres planted with fragrant fruit trees. Many of the island’s posh home owners enlist the hotel’s sister company Atzaró Design to design their vacation homes. The lack of crowds and hubbub makes this hotel especially suited for couples, honeymooners, or any grown-up looking to escape from it all.”

The Telegraph adds, “Atzaró has set the standard for luxury agroturismos in Ibiza – so much so that they now have a sister company, Atzaró Design, devoted to bringing the hotel’s chic, soothing aesthetic to a handful of private clients on the island. The hotel and spa have been recently redesigned and refurbished, restoring some of the more authentic, traditional Ibizan elements of the 300-year-old finca (think thick white walls, natural Sabina wood beams, historic photos, and rustic antique furniture) while maintaining its luxurious, five-star appeal.”
Deluxe Suite

The 1,250-sq.ft. Deluxe Suite features private terraces, private pools, living rooms and king size four-poster beds.

5. 7Pines Resort Ibiza

The Telegraph writes, “This sprawling five-star resort on Ibiza’s west coast opened amid much fanfare – and with reason. Exceptional facilities, impeccable service, and spectacular views of Ibiza’s most famous landmark, Es Vedrà, means that this hotel more than lives up to the hype.”

Forbes says it’s idea for “families looking to have a plethora of activities at their fingertips.” It points to “Pershing yachts available for charter; kid’s club; stand-up paddle boards and kayaks…epic sunsets over iconic rocky island Es Vedrà.” The business magazine adds, “Guests should book a holistic treatment at the spa where products feature essential oils derived from the island’s endemic botanicals and dinner at the View in time for sunset. The restaurant offers Spanish gastronomy with international influences, like langoustines with Iberian pork and almonds or sautéed sweetbreads with hazelnuts and black truffle. With plenty to keep both kids and kids at heart occupied, this is the type of resort where guests never have to leave the premises.”

6. Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay

Forbes says the hotel is perfect for “gourmands who prioritize fine food above all else,” adding, “Opulence reaches new levels at the five-star Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay, a four-story stunner with two swimming pools and multiple restaurants. The hotel’s neutral and organic color palette gets a luxe upgrade from polished gold accents and hand-blown glass pendant lamps. Almost every one of the 152 spacious rooms at the hotel offers ocean views.

Ranked second by Conde Nast, it reports, “Now that building anything from scratch in Ibiza is almost impossible, hotel groups have to hover around waiting for old holiday haunts to close down. So didn’t the owners of Nobu (a kick-ass get-together of the MC collection – The Marbella Club, Puente Romano, etc – and the Livingstone brothers – Cliveden, Chewton Glen) get lucky? They found a Talamanca hotel with on-the-water access, a sweeping stretch of beach, and bright blue waves. And despite the potentially intimidating Ibiza-ness of the hotel, with its chiringuito beach restaurant Chambao, boutiques selling €300 swimwear, and the sashimi-serving Nobu, this is a relaxed, pad-around-in-your-bikini kind of place.”
Nobu’s Penthouse Suite

The 3,507-sq.ft. top floor Penthouse Suite boasts views of Talamanca Bay and Ibiza Town. It features a grand entrance, living room, dining area, kitchen, king-size master suite and two additional suites. Floor-to-ceiling windows line the walls that look out on the Mediterranean.
