Rooms and Suites

A relaxing, understated countryside manor of a close friend.

At Troutbeck, each room is well-appointed with unique and distinct characteristics based on where you are staying on the property. The accommodations offer historical references throughout, such as a letter from Martin Luther King Jr., written to the previous owner, Amy Spingarn.

Although the rooms do have a lot of historic charm, they have all been updated with modern amenities with a Scandinavian touch.

Some rooms even have standalone clawfoot tubs, as well as private screened-in porches if staying at one of the suites at Benton House, located just across a historic bridge that used to serve as a watering hole for local travelers in the late 19th century.

The downstairs rooms in the Benton House are particularly exquisite.

The dining at this property is a delight. Troutbeck’s restaurant, located in the Manor House, offers an upscale setting in a relaxing environment.

The menu is farm-to-table, with locally sourced products in effort to support the community and give guests a true Hudson Valley experience.

Perfect for both large groups and small parties, the menu features a wide range of seafood, fresh produce creatively prepared, and prime rib cooked to perfection. We particularly enjoyed their pork chops and roasted sweet potato.

Troutbeck’s bar is full service and produces hyper-seasonal cocktails with top-shelf regional spirits, beer from the exceptional brewers in the community, and a terroir-driven wine list with wines from near and far.

The bar offers service throughout the living spaces, including the Sun Room with pool table, library, and living room.

One of the signature drinks is the Troutbeck Old Fashioned, featuring bourbon, Pedro Ximenez, mole bitters, and orange peel. We loved sipping on one of these while enjoying a game of pool.
