1. 1 Hotel West Hollywood

Forbes Travel Guide reports, “A refuge from the bright billboards and bustle of Sunset Boulevard, 1 Hotel West Hollywood sets you at ease with its lush exterior landscaping and calming neutral-toned furnishings in the plant-plush lobby. Speaking of the rooftop — be it by day at the pristine pool or by night at the craft cocktail bar — it’s where L.A.’s beautiful people scene unfolds. Beyond the buzzy amenities, there’s also a sun-drenched gym with complimentary exercise classes, three restaurants, a new U.K.-based spa, a farmstand, a Goodthings shop selling hotel merchandise and a rooftop deck for outdoor yoga, photo shoots or an awe-inspiring event space.”
Panoramic Two-Bedroom Suite

The 1,297-sq.ft. suite offers panoramic Los Angeles views and a step-out balcony.

2. Pendry West Hollywood

Conde Nast Traveler writes, “The first thing you’ll notice about the Pendry WeHo is the sheer scope of it all; the property spans an entire city block along the Sunset Strip on a plot that was formerly the iconic House of Blues. Upon entering, you’re greeted with a psychedelic light installation by London artist Anthony James, which will have you sucked into a trance if you’re not careful. Between the art, ridiculously good-looking clientele, and smartly dressed concierge team, it’s a bit of a challenge to stay on track at check-in, but you’ll be rewarded.”
Pendry Suite

The 1,000-sq.ft. Pendry Suite is located on the 10th floor with sweeping views of downtown Los Angeles and the Wilshire Corridor plus a private furnished balcony.

3. The Edition West Hollywood
Forbes Travel Guide says, “A gas-station-turned-glittering-getaway, The West Hollywood EDITION is a hot spot on L.A.’s iconic Sunset Strip. With playful interiors designed by Ian Schrager and a minimalistic build by famed U.K. architect John Pawson, the 13-story, 190-room hotel is strikingly modern yet approachable. But this high-end hotel is about more than just looks. The West Hollywood EDITION caters to every whim with a stylish restaurant, full-service spa, 24-hour gym, nightclub and rooftop pool and bar. Overall, it’s a tribute to the SoCal lifestyle: sophisticated with a side of fun. Plus, the cityscape views from most rooms do not disappoint.”
4. Dream Hollywood

The Telegraph says, “Dream is a vibrant nightlife complex touting a smart hotel, seven restaurants, and a number of bars and nightclubs. It epitomizes stereotypical Hollywood (velvet ropes, models, sports cars), and is a ‘dream’ hotel for socialites and night owls looking to lap up this revitalized area of LA.”
King Guest House

5. W Hollywood

Forbes Travel Guide says, “In an abnormal (but sumptuously successful) move, the high-rise hotel enlisted the original design team, Rockwell Group, to makeover 319 rooms (including 39 suites) and every public space from top to bottom, starting with the ground-floor lobby and all-day coffee closet and finishing with the signature Wet Deck, the largest rooftop pool patio and bar in Hollywood.”
Luxe Level Penthouse

The 1,343-sq.ft. suite has a large living/sitting area and dining area, plus views that will want to make you stay in your suite.

6. Chateau Marmont

Conde Nast Traveler writes, “This famous (and infamous) castle-like hotel has stood sentry on the Sunset Strip since the 1920s, welcoming a long, long list of Hollywood notables and their attendant scandals and tragedies. (Jim Belushi died in Bungalow 3, and Lindsay Lohan was banned for life for not paying a bill of more than $46,000, to name just a couple.) This is all part of its enduring appeal. While many of the rooms are in dire need of updating, the romantic public areas with wood-beamed ceilings, candle-lit corner tables, and tile floor could never be recreated.”
Two-Bedroom Poolside Bungalow

This 3,800-sq.ft. bungalow features a large private terrace with loungers, an alfresco dining table and a Hollywood Hills-view lounge area with an outdoor sofa and armchairs.

7. The Hollywood Roosevelt

The Telegraph says, “Where movie stars once frolicked during Hollywood’s golden age, this landmark hotel is popular with a young, svelte crowd who lounges poolside on sunny days. Oh so fashionably chic, the hotel is in the heart of Hollywood, near famous landmarks and scores of restaurants, bars, and nightclubs.”
Gable Lombard Penthouse

The 20-foot vaulted ceiling is the signature of this 2,500-sq.ft. suite with two bedrooms to complement the sunken living room, where a full bar and state-of-the-art entertainment system await.

8. Andaz West Hollywood

The Telegraph reports, “With a storied history as the site of rock ‘n’ roll debauchery, the Andaz retains a playful and sociable spirit, while offering top-notch service, food and drink, and unbeatable views of the city.”
Penthouse Suite

Surrounded by magnificent views of the Hollywood Hills, enjoy the plush king bed, private balcony, floor-to-ceiling windows, separate living and dining areas, an additional half bath, a wet bar and a wine refrigerator while you revel in this luxury suite.

9. Kimpton La Peer West Hollywood

Conde Nast Traveler writes, “Kimpton’s opening is set in West Hollywood’s Design District—and it fits right in. L.A.-based Icelandic designer Gulla Jónsdóttir was enlisted to create the stylish interiors, and the result is a mix of natural materials (concrete, leather walls, white oak flooring) and custom furnishings, such as six-foot light sconces in the lobby. She also collaborated with artists, poets and photographers, personally selecting each work on display. Outside, olive trees and a vertical garden make the pool feel secluded and intimate.”
Penthouse Suite

The 1,400-sq.ft. Penthouse suite adds a 200-sq.ft. terrace making it perfect for entertaining.
