1. Overview

Faena New York brings its signature blend of art, culture, service, wellness, and entertainment to West Chelsea, one of Manhattan’s most storied and creative neighborhoods. After transformative debuts in Buenos Aires and Miami Beach, Faena arrives in New York with a heartfelt homage to the city’s dynamic spirit. It is housed within One High Line. Architect Bjarke Ingels’ striking masterpiece overlooks the acclaimed High Line Park.

Designed for those who seek inspiration, transformation, and magic in the heart of the city, it defies convention at every turn.

Faena New York introduces its singular blend of art, culture, service, and celebration. It is thoughtfully crafted to honor the city’s essence and deliver a timeless experience that defies convention. Moreover, it is designed for those who seek inspiration, transformation, and magic in the heart of Manhattan.

The hotel is located within One High Line, Bjarke Ingel’s architectural masterpiece overlooking the acclaimed High Line Park. It occupies a full city block from 17th to 18th Streets between 10th and 11th Avenues.

Alan Faena’s vision has always been drawn to places where history, art, and the spirit of reinvention converge. This waterfront site, echoing the spirit of Buenos Aires’ old ports, felt destined. It offered the chance to collaborate with the architect, Bjarke Ingels. This allowed them to create a dialogue between vision and place. Notably, it is rooted in a neighborhood with a storied legacy of design, architecture, and creativity. Faena New York is a bold gesture of transformation —bringing new experiences, new energy, and a new spirit to a place already steeped in inspiration.

Faena Theatre New York will debut in summer 2026, ready to welcome you with unforgettable performances.

Faena New York features 120 expertly crafted rooms and suites. Each showcases floor-to-ceiling windows, sweeping views, and a serene yet vibrant aesthetic. Select top-level suites boast carefully appointed terraces. These are private escapes suspended above the city. In addition, the interiors are thoughtfully crafted by Alan Faena in collaboration with Peter Mikic Studios and the Faena Design Team. They weave Faena’s signature symbology and meticulous design with local influences. This creates posh spaces that honor Manhattan’s energy while embodying the brand’s unmistakable spirit.

Accessible via private elevator, the 3,000-sq.ft. Faena Three-Bedroom Suite is a duplex penthouse that unfolds across two levels. It features a sprawling living room with original artworks, a baby grand piano, and conversation seating for up to 14 guests. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame panoramic views of the High Line Park and the Empire State Building. A functional kitchen and dining space for eight offer all the comforts of refined entertaining. Outside, an 800-square-foot landscaped terrace extends the experience with alfresco dining for eight.

Imperial Two-Bedroom Suite

An expansive 1,630-square feet retreat, the Imperial Two-Bedroom Suite offers a private 700-square-foot terrace with views of the High Line Park and Chelsea neighborhood below. Inside, two king bedrooms provide walk-in closets and spa-style bathrooms featuring double vanities and Faena’s signature design.

Rose One-Bedroom Suite

The 1,125-square foot Rose Suite welcomes guests with a spacious entry foyer that opens into a corner living and dining room with seating for four. Elevated above the city, floor-to-ceiling windows frame sweeping views of the High Line Park and the vibrant Chelsea neighborhood beyond. There is a king bed in the master bedroom, a walk-in wardrobe, and a spacious soaking tub with Empire State Building views.

3. Wellness

Tierra Santa Healing House is the hotel’s South American-inspired spa. Designed as an oasis of relaxation and rejuvenation, Tierra Santa Healing House offers bespoke treatments and experiences that merge ancient rituals with contemporary techniques. One of the largest spas in New York, it includes a retail concept, ten treatment rooms, a Faena signature hammam, dry and infrared sauna, steam room, five plunge pools offering differing temperatures, and a salt or scented complement to the hammam experience. To honor the peaceful essence of this space, it remains an adults-only experience. Furthermore, the spa also features an expansive fitness center with the latest equipment. There is also a separate movement studio, equipment, and mind-body classes.

4. Restaurants & Bars

Located on the ground floor and overlooking 10th Avenue and the High Line Plaza, La Boca (above) is Mallmann’s love letter to the Buenos Aires neighborhood of the same name. It features a bar and a 140-seat dining room, including a semi-private section for fifty-seven guests. The expansive space offers breakfast, lunch, and its signature dinner service. Nightly entertainment begins with live music and closes the evening with a DJ experience.

Situated on the second floor, The Living Room (below) beats with the pulse of Faena New York. It features two bars—one at each end of the room—134 seats, and a spacious terrace facing the High Line. A grand gallery connects The Living Room to El Secreto and La Cava. A private section seats thirty-three guests, with an additional eight seats at the bar. Open from three in the afternoon until two in the morning, The Living Room serves bespoke and signature cocktails along with light fare. Evenings come alive with curated live music performances, artfully designed to enchant and inspire.

El Secreto is the clandestine jewel of Faena New York — a hidden salon and exclusive bar concealed behind an unmarked door on the second floor. Beneath a glistening artwork, the intimate space is illuminated, casting an atmosphere of opulence, seduction, and mystery. The speakeasy also features its own private terrace for discreet gatherings. Meanwhile, La Cava is a vibrant homage to the original cellar at Faena Buenos Aires. This lush, emerald-toned jewel is the hotel’s active wine cellar. The twenty-four-seat space features its own kitchen and curated menu, designed for unforgettable private gatherings. It can be paired seamlessly with El Secreto.
