Aman Rosa Alpina is located in the Northern Italian province of Bolzano in the village of San Cassiano in the Badia Commune. The town is located in the heart of a valley basin surrounded on all sides by Dolomitic peaks.

To get here, you can fly into Venice Marco Polo Airport or Innsbruck. Both are both approximately 2.5 hours’ drive away while, Bolzano Airport is a good option if you are arriving by private jet, about 90 by road. Helicopter transfers take approximately 22 minutes from Bolzano, 45 minutes from Venice, 30 minutes from Innsbruck and 70 minutes from Milano.

2. Suites

Combining a sense of heritage with Aman’s design language, fifty-one spacious rooms and suites—including the exclusive two-bedroom Aman Suite—are inspired by the raw beauty of their mountain surroundings. Reflected in the use of natural materials, such as wood and stone, the great outdoors anchors each space. Lofty and private, rooms and suites offer expansive balconies and floor-to-ceiling windows from which to immerse yourself in the majesty of the Dolomites, while inside, glass-enclosed working fireplaces and separate living areas provide ample room to reset. Several rooms can also be connected, catering to families and groups.

Aman Suite

The hotel’s largest suite at 1,700 square feet, the Aman Suite comprises two king bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms featuring walk-in rain showers and double vanities, while the principal bedroom adds a large soaking tub.

The suites provides plenty of space, the south-facing terrace boasts forest views while a dining table seats six guests. Panoramic windows flood the living space with light. There’s a central fireplace.

Zeno Suite

The 1,550 square foot Zeno Suite is offers an open living area, glass-enclosed working fireplace, king-sized bed and bathroom complete with Hammam steam room. The suite also includes a bar, fully-equipped kitchenette and a dining table for up to eight guests. Its private balcony overlooks the village and San Cassiano church while its south-facing private garden offers tranquil forest views. There’s a cinema room and access via a dedicated lift and entrance foyer. The Zeno Suite can also be connected to an adjoining Junior Suite, providing the option of a two-bedroom configuration.

Rosa Alpina Suite

Ideal for families or groups with several connecting room options available, the 1,467 square foot Rosa Alpina Suite feature a private balcony, open-plan living space with dining table for six guests, king bed, walk-in wardrobe and a living area with working fireplace. Expansive floor-to-ceiling windows, the suite also offers a spa-like bathroom with rain shower, soaking tub and double vanity, forming the ultimate retreat. 

Dolomites Suite

Located on the hotel’s top floor, the Dolomites Suite offers 360-degree panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and San Cassiano village. The 1,076 square foot suite features a master suite with a private outdoor Finnish sauna, a living area with central fireplace, dining area, bar and private office. To create a two-bedroom space, the Dolomites Suite can be connected to an adjoining Superior Room with the option to then privatise the entire floor. Private access via a dedicated lift enhances the feeling of ultimate privacy and comfort. 

3. Pool & Gym

The family-friendly indoor swimming pool offers magnificent views overlooking the private garden and forest. Additionally, a separate wellness area is available for adults-only; this includes an indoor swimming pool, cold plunge pool, Finnish sauna, and steam bath. A third twenty-meter heated outdoor infinity swimming pool is situated on the upper level of the Aman Spa. The state-of-the-art gym is fitted with the latest equipment, spanning over 200 square meters. On the same floor, there’s a yoga studio outfitted with large windows, where yoga classes are available upon request.

5. Restaurants & Bar

Aman Rosa Alpina offers four distinct dining venues, each curated by Executive Chef Gianluca Salvato and offering a delectable array of cuisines—from traditional Alpine indulgences to simple Italian specialties—and an extensive wine selection.

The Grill (above) is an atmospheric restaurant offering a refreshing take on local dishes presented family-style. Heritage Room is an inviting breakfast room offering a refined international breakfast, including freshly baked bread, pastries, made-to-order eggs, and an array of organic and gluten-free dishes. Enju (below) is an elegant setting in which to enjoy authentic Japanese Shabu Shabu dining.

Il Salotto combines Aman’s peaceful spirit with local alpine charm, creating a lounge space that shifts effortlessly from day to night.
