To narrow down Paris’ amazing luxury hotels to a list short enough for a single newsletter would be impossible. So, we looked to U.S. News & World Report for its list of lists rankings. We then picked our favorite suites at each hotel, which are the focus of this week’s issue, and perhaps an additional inspiration to head to Europe this Summer.

With its 3,330 sq. ft. of elegance and softness, the Imperial Suite is the largest suite at Bristol Paris. On the honey-colored parquet in the Hungarian point of the living room, the style is resolutely French. Furniture signed by the French manufacture Taillardat, embroidered and damask fabrics from Colony, throughout the rooms, this spirit of refined charm specific to the classic style of the 18th century emerges. The dining room, overlooking the hotel’s garden, can accommodate up to twelve guests for private dinners imagined by the three-star Chef Eric Frechon.

The master bedroom, flooded with natural light, offers its calming shades of greige, cream, and whites. On the fifth and top floor, the 1,850 sq. ft. Elysee Suite Paris offers views over the Nave of the Grand Palais, the gilded sculptures of the Alexandre III bridge, and the soaring silhouette of the Eiffel Tower. The herringbone-patterned wooden flooring echoes the ornate moldings on the ceiling, itself decked out in bespoke wallpapering in the grand tradition of the French decorative arts. 

The suite is composed of a spacious lounge, two private bars, a wine cellar offering Grand Cru wines, two bedrooms each with its own dressing room, and a Carrara marble bathroom fitted with a bathtub, an Italian-style shower, and a twin vanity sink.
